Bifocal

Run Bifocal on your computer.

100% free and open source. Two lines, and Bifocal opens in your browser.

  1. Install rer

    curl -fsSL https://runeditrun.com/install.sh | sh

It installs rer for you alone, with its own Node if you have no Node 22 or later. The installer does not edit your shell files itself. If it ends with a line to run, run it before step 2: it puts rer on your PATH now and appends the same setting to your shell's startup file (for example ~/.zshrc) for new terminals.

  2. Start Bifocal

    rer dev just-every/run-bifocal

rer gets Bifocal, installs everything, makes you the owner and prints a link that opens Bifocal signed in. To start it again later: cd run-bifocal && rer dev

Already have Node 22 or later? npx -y @runeditrun/rer dev just-every/run-bifocal does both steps in one line.
